How many 2008 Models are hitting our shores?

How many STIs will be making their way into the US this year? I can't imagine it being too hard getting into one in a month or two, it's a mass production car. Some people are being told MAY when ordering now, but that sounds like nonsense. I just ordered one in NY and the dealer said mine would be in the next allotment in March.

Also, with all of the bad press this car is getting (no offense, but it's been picked behind the Mitsu and VW in every single comparision test I've read) I don't see people running to the dealerships at this point. Reason why?

Think about it, most people that really wanted an STi probably have one...the 2008, while I love it, doesn't really take the performance up a enough to demand trade ins and new buyers.

I head that only 231 have made it to the west coast port. No more were scheduled to make it till april.

Um, there's like 15 magazine stories that say what I said...I don't need to own one to draw a conclusion...Of course the owners are all going to praise it, but the 3rd party reaction has been lukewarm, you can't deny that.
