I don't know whether I should be happy or mad.

It'll promote the Subaru STI, but, at the same time, will breed ricers to rice out our precious Subarus.....

I had a GTI want to go when I driving my STI home from the dealer. I had less than 100 miles on it. I specifically remember reading his lips to say "Race me f***er!"

So much for Subaru's market targeting strategy on this one. This movie is going to be ghey just like all the others made before it. I will not contribute to this crap therefore I will not be watching it. I may catch it in 4 years when it hits TBS so then I can point and laugh at the crap box hatch and thank god that subaru did away with it......

The STi's are pretty pricey...so the people who mod them will likely do a decent job...even if they are riceresque
You don't see too many riced out Supras...most of them are well executed...the civics were vandalized by ricers because they are cheap.

I concur with the "Supra Argument"... I'm guessing we will see a surge of riced out 2008+ 2.5RS and WRX models... But I doubt will see alot of riced out 08+ STi's if any... Lets hope we won't be seeing widebody kits being offered to make 2.5RS/WRX look like STi's....

dam... i finally thought they were gonna stop after the third crapfest of a movie. but i guess this might be good and bad news for subaru owners. good that people will be able to see the new one on the big screen, and bad because it will be mis-represented.

I think the front bumper and rear diffuser is sweet as hell, but every other piece they crafted is ass...

The front reminds me of the new M3 front end with that little dip-down front lip.

I can almost guarantee this will happen...look at all the kits to make older models look like newer models...I'm almost wondering if you could just order the required components for WRX->STi conversion from subaru...

I wish they would quit making these movies. They are partially to blame for all the wing warrior hatred and part of reason I went under the radar with the new 08 STI. Now my car will be profiled.

I think you'll be fine and stay under the radar as long as you don't plaster your car with goofy Fast and Furious bodykits and graphics.

I'm really enjoying the "stealth" factor, and I think the dark gray helps with that, too. Most people don't give my car a second look. They don't know what it is, nor do they care. It's just another hatch - at least until the light turns green.

If you really want the stealth factor...try swapping out the body panels and rebadge it as an RS.... I'm sure that would shock the hell outta some people....at least you wouldn't have every teenager with a car trying to race you!

I though about debadging my car then putting a mazda emblem on the back. That would be funny.
