Default Way to go Subie Marketing

So here's a snip of the Subie marketing email I got today:

How would anyone, much less "performance enthusiasts" EVER say that the 08 Sti closely resembles the 07 WRC car? I mean, I suppose they both have 4 round wheels and a hood scoop. But that's about it. Not to mention the fact that the copy contradicts itself. First it says it looks like the WRC07 car, then it says it's all new?!?! Who the hell hires these marketing fools?

LOL I guess no one proofreads their ads. Subaru should hire enthusiasts that care about their products.

And they had a link to the Car and Driver review on the web. The review was lukewarm at best.

You forgot they both have flared fenders!

If you think that's bad, you should see some of the tools that actually take this stuff as fact and regurgitate it to you on the car lot!

Yeah, when I was shopping for my STi I also looked at a 350Z. We were looking under the hood and he points to the strut tower bar and was like:
"This is the anti-roll bar. It, uh, takes care of the roll."

I didn't have the heart to give the poor kid a suspension lecture. Then I asked him about the front tire wear issue that they had on 03's and he was like
"uhh, uhh, well you should ask so-and-so about that, uhh, but they umm, fixed it... uhh I think."

Needless to say I was not impressed by nissan. But the car was alright.
