Default Heated seat option

I have found a heated seat option that will work for me.
The best price on OEM heated seats is 290.91 per seat with an install quote of 115.00 each A total of 811.82 for both.
83075fa010 Switch $44.07
64111fg050 Heating unit Back $91.94
64111fg030 Heating Unit Bottom $154.90

I did some searching and found this kit
Seat Heater for Cars and Trucks from HeatedSeatKits.com
for 160.00 plus 115.00 times 2 would be 550.00 I think this is a better option.

If it wasn't this close to spring I'd be looking into one of those possibly.

That switch looks a lot like the one they put in the CDN STI, except there are two dials in one. One for the passenger and one for the driver. In the CDN WRX, there are actually two separate switches. Interesting...

Heated seats? I've never been cold in the seats we have...but the coldest it gets here is -20 to -30F. The suede is great...my leather seats in the cadillac however will freeze you dead.

I don't think it's worth it (not that you asked)

I very much miss the heated seats from my 04 WRX (limited), not to mention the mirror and wiper heaters.

DAMN Subaru for not including this as OPTIONS!?! For that matter, I'm even more frustrated by the omission of the Smart Key and Push Button Start features every market other than NA has! Sigh... Perhaps these feature will be added later for those who prefer OEM.

To the OP, thanks for sharing the info... I have been considering going aftermarket to on this. : /

No kidding How about we get Recaros and the JDM 2.0 Twin scroll motor instead of this 2.5 bs

Heh. My frame fits perfectly in the USDM STI seats (5'10", 180lbs). Just the same, it sure would have been nice for the many folks who would like those seats as an option.

As for the 2L twinscroll, I think it would be extremely interesting to see numbers for how many sold... if Subaru has two different STI models, all over the world, based solely on motor choice?!?

Ahh, if only...

One of the reasons I had bought an STi Limited.
