My first 08 STI encounter

Well.... Just got back from the Detroit Auto Show... and I had a blast!! That was my first time I ever went... and for any car lover out there... it is the ultimate experience!! But of course I was hovering around the Subaru booth the whole time... and holy new STI!!! I was sooo impressed! After seeing pictures of the new STI... I had started to like it... but after getting up close and personal with one... OMG!!! I am totally in love!!!! I got to sit in it and got many many pictures of it and the rally car that they had there...

I was so overly impressed though... with the exception of the rear tail lights... (that can be changed anyways)... I am totally in love with this car... I was debating between the new G37S... 335i... or the new STI as my next car... and after owning 4 imprezas... I had thought about trying out something new... but after getting a good up close look at the new STI... I just can't do it... have to stay loyal... hahaha... but the pictures of the new STI just don't do the justice... you NEED to see it in person... I guess its always a love/hate thing for us subaru guys... but I am definitely in love with this new STI!! Now... just have to decide when to buy one!!

Oh... yeah... and there was this nice car there... called a GT-R!? Ever hear of it?!

Hahaha... that this is absolutely beautiful as well... wish I had $70k to spend on a car!! That thing is amazing... awesome in person as well!

Not real sure what the best way to get pictures on here is... have quite a few nice ones on my computer of the sti and sti rally car... I am not enabled to post attachments... and I don't have my pics on the web anywhere... any help on that?

But definitely... NEW STI FTW!!!

Thanks for the help... I got a few pictures uploaded... I actually realized that I got more of the rally car than the production car because there were so many people around the production car... the WHOLE DAY that I was there... haha... definitely a sweet car though... I will take one in white please!!

Dang the rally STI looks sick! Can't wait to see that thing in action in the WRC series.

I saw one at my dealer this weekend. They are impressive in person. I liked how it felt in the drivers seat. Had nice details. Still, I am going to keep my 07. I prefer the look.

Yeah... the interior felt really nice... I have an 06 wrx... and was debating between the 06 sti or the 08... and I really like the look of the hatchback now... just have to decide whether I should get the 08 or wait for any revisions on the 09?? Guess time will tell... but very nice car!
