Default 08 Rear strut tower brace

How are we going to be doing this? Obviously with the wrx wagons it just went straight across the back, but that gets in the way etc. Are there any brace ideas floating around, or perhaps someone will create an easy snap on snap off design for people that want to remove it in order to make use of the rear cargo area? Any ideas?

Not sure a brace really matters all that much. The STi already has a stouter chassis than the WRX. What a brace does for them is likely imaginary anyway.

A cage be noticeable on the other hand

i don't know if you took a good look at the 08 suspension but it's mounted entirely on a sub-frame which is then bolted to the uni-body. The sub-frame absorbs the stress from the suspension, pretty much negating the need for a rear strut tower bar (there are no more real strut towers).

Good point, my brain must have been farting when I posted this up. This is also the reason for the wider cargo area! Doh.
