if you like 04-05 get it. i like both. 04-05 and the new 08. my only beef with the 08 is new body style, new features, new bugs to work out. 04 also was the first new body style etc. but all the fixes are out already, you know what problems (if any) you potentially face.
plus the depreciation and you will pay so much less..
sounds like you made up your mind anyway, just let us know what you end up getting AND POST PICS..

I'll echo what was said earlier... maybe consider a clean 05 if you can find one within range, due to the updates to that model year over the 04.

04 ftw, theyre great performers and anything you'd want to upgrade has been laid out on here so its easy to research and easy to source parts, from hub conversions to the super cheap but super nice ground control / koni setups you can use on the 04's.

just be sure if youre counting pennies to compare the insurance rates for both cars and to see if you get shafted on financing for the 04 like if they limit the term to 48 months instead of 60 or 72 months like you could get on the 08.

let us know how you made out and I hope you can get the 04, theyre so much fun! raw raw raw!
