Dude.. are you sure this is the actual video where the 08 STI and EVO X go head to head?

Cause I just looked at the torrent it's 25 days old. Meaning this can't be the video. It's the video where they test the 08 STI on it's own and not the head to head battle with the 07 STI and EVO IX.

I believe this episode has the Lexus IF and G37 test drive as well.

In this episode the battle was with:
EXO X 5sp
EXO X SST
EVO IX
07 STI
G37 Coupe

Man it may seem like I'm being biased because I own an Evo but this it the first time I've ever seen a stock STI beat a stock evo IX on a track.....

EDIT: Oh and I'm talking about the older models not the 08. Would like to see some more videos on that.

Yeah I know those are a good bit faster on the track but come on...only 300 were made and they are $36k compared to the Evo's $29-$31k.

Don't want to start any arguments I just thought it was interesting to see the STI in front of the Evo IX. If it was a Spec c I can understand but the others are slower. (no offense)

I mean come on, the Spec c has 315hp and only beat the Evo by less then a car and less then a second in the 1/4 mile.

Just isn't consistant with all the other videos I've seen with the Evo IX vs the none Spec C STI.

who ends up in front of who is not as important as the lap time during time attacks....someone post the time attacks laptimes and see if the IX was quicker or slower than the 06 or 08 STi.

when someone's in front of you on a small track passing SAFELY is harder than you think...
