Default OTD: Pricing out the door

Quite a few people have claimed to be getting excellent deals for invoice, a little bit under, a little bit over, but what is your actual out the door price? Dealers have a knack for adding on costs here and there to pile up to who knows what.

I've bought a few Subarus over the years from one particular sales person and haven't had any problems. However with their new management comes different issues and I'm really not in a negotiating mood. I have a fair price in mind (OTD for MSRP) which still nets them profit ABOVE their invoice, not including any money received for a sale with kickbacks and what not.

Not to mention the trade in of my current car for GOOD kelly blue book. All in all, neither of us gets raked through the coals and we all come out with what we want.

Considering this would be my fourth car from the same dealership in almost as many years, I think this is a fair deal. With that said, what have you all done thus far?

This is pretty much the deal I'm looking for (minus all the options). Out the door at what it looks like, a gnats ass away from MSRP.

Which dealer is this from in VA?

What is invoice? I am curious.

Just know this...dealerships have $0 dollars into the new cars on their lots. The destination fees are a rip off. From talking to my father in law (lot manager) dealerships bear no cost of new cars on their lots. Absolutly none....not even the destination costs. Once sold they get anything above invoice as delivered. Used cars are another issue...

Wow, 3% tax? That's great! I paid like 7.75% in Cali. Ugh.

You're including six years of interest there big guy. With that mindset you don't ever want to buy a house with a 30 year mortgage...

My point is that you are including six years worth of interest in the price of the car. If you do that on a cheap car it is going to come out looking expensive...
