Headlight washers

I received the new Drive Performance from Subaru today. In the
STI section they state Pop-up headlight washers as a feature. Is this
for Japan spec, and do we really need headlight washers?

Headlight washers is outside US only. I think it's pointless!!

Appartly you havent rubbed snow on your head lights to get the salt off so you could see.

For anyone outside the snow belt I can understand this, it would be pointless.

Even in the snow states it would get used very little, but would be a nice feature. Kind of like A/C up north.
