um no same steering rack...
the differences are pretty much the same when compared to our current year with the addition of new features.

Different racks- USDM = 15:1 , JDM = 13:1

This thread is all the reasons enough for me to hate Subaru of japan. The fact that they intentionally nerf the STI for the US market.

and they have $6.00+ per gallon with prices still climbing
