Yeah the more i read about the later models with hte helical front diff, i wondered how much different it would feel. I know my STi needed to be st up a little earlier for the corner to get a powerful exit line, where the Evo could dump in a little quicker and make better mid-corner corrections.

My 05 still felt like it had a more connected steering feel and different cornering dynamics (differences between the front diff probably.) His car handled way better than mine (which was stock suspension wise except for camber bolts/sways) but it still felt "soft" and more disconnected in the front end for some reason.

Same here. They definitely improved the front end for 05.
