IWSTI Addict since: May 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | I am still waiting on more test results....But..I can live with the new body and all the little extra electronic goodies....etc...I'm not sure if I want to buy one if the performance stays the same and the Hp is about the same. I really do like my "Raw" STi....and I might just keep it a little longer. I like Trading Cars around 60K miles or so.....I have a little over 6k miles now on my 07 which runs great....So...I guess I will wait for more road tests to come out....and test drive one. I was so hoping for 320 hp + and "much improved" 0-60 and quarter- mile performance. If nothing changes.....I will keep my baby and buy the 08 when my miles get up there. I really like Subaru and its AWD system... What do some of you guys think ( The ones that were thinking of trading) Thanks. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Exactly......Thats what STi"s are about.....Performance...That"s why we buy em.......All around Performance....Hopefully Subaru would of stepped up in certain categories of performance for 08, If not I will keep my 07 which I'm happy with until they raise the Bar. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Just keep your 07! You need to wait until the 08 in perfected. The only reason why someone should buy the 08 is because that person likes a hatchback look. Also when I get rid of my 07, their will have to be something awesome in the next 5 years to replace it. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (2) | Also, with the future release of DI, I bet you will get a better more efficient and powerful engine to push the next refreshed STI. I wait until the next one has at least 50HP increase... kinda like the Vettes has been going from 300 to 350 to 400. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | It's been 15 years and we're up 50 from the first STI. You might be waiting a while for another 50 . Not that they couldn't, of course, they have the 2.0 putting out 300 now, with the extra 25% displacement of the 2.5L they should have no trouble hitting 350. But I'd be surprised to see it anytime soon. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
