SPOTTED new STI on the freeway in Cali today (PIC!)

I saw it coming up from behind me going southbound on the 280 out of SF today around 11am. I was like no way, yep its an STI with no plates! Once he got next to me I pulled out my cam to take a pic, but he saw me and got on his brakes and dropped way back, too late got the pic

too bad my Photoshop isn't working, if someone adjust the brightness we can see more of the car

well i'll say it.. looks ok I think. don't love it, and don't hate it... i am blah about it right now, but i am sure it will grow on me. hell i like the sedan wrx look alot. i dunno why. (I might be sick)

I like it.

I love how people hate on a car that were never made for looks. Subaru have never been a good looking car. Get a bimmer if you want looks.

I can't wait to test drive one.

Amen. Anyone with a GD impreza has no room to complain about looks. I thought my 05 was hideous until I started driving it.

I am so over the fact that it is so horrible looking that all I can do when I see it is laugh. So,

Honestly, who the hell would pay ~$35k for that?

On a positive note, I am sure it will perform well.

Not looking to good there, however, it looks like it is braking (probably hard) so the weight is going forward making the back end look tall... black is not the best color for showing off lines! I look forward to test driving one in silver or red! My wife has been itching for a sport hatch ever since we rented an Audi A3 in Germany last month!

I have to say, that although I'm not loving the looks, and totally prefer a sedan/saloon over a hatch, how hot would it be to have two WRX STIs in the stable! Having test driven the 08 WRX, I can say the back seat is bigger and would easily hold a couple of car seats, which will soon be needed!

I will be keeping my mouth closed about the looks until I see one in person... Like has been said before, I didn't buy my 04 STI because it was a stunner to look at... it was after the test drive that I said, "I must have this car!!!"
