The SI-Drive is actually Subaruīs answer to a question nobody asked. Itīs cool on automatics like my Spec.B, where you have a comfortable cruiser which you want to be able to drive more economically smarter, more efficient but also faster and quicker when needed... but the STi is born to be driven quickly and faster than a normal Impreza. So.. why? Anyone care to explain?
How would you like to have a separate map for 91-93 octane gas, one for 100 and another for 110? Or subtract one of the race gas tunes for an economy map. All at the twist of a nob. I met a guy with an audi s4. He had the same kind of map switching in his car and thats what he had, 91oct, 100oct,110oct.
