The illuminated footwell is kind of neat too.

Where do you see the push button start?

It´s to the right of the steering wheel. It´s on the left side on the USDM and EDM cars.

Well I asked the sales manager here if it could be that the USDM model wonīt get the Push Start and Keyless entry... and he found it hard to believe that the USDM car would be excluded from that kind of extras. So I would not be surprised if you guys get it

Why would one want a 'pushbutton start'?

Why not? All the sporty cars are doing it now and while somewhat gimmicky, it is reasonably cool.

Push-Start is not a deal-breaker... but it´s a nice gimmick to smile about

....Then buy a (better) JDM unit, and mount it where you want it.
I like doodads and gizmos, but imvho a button-start is worthless.

button starts are cool, you don't have to worry about keys and such, just have one key fob.

as far as I know the aftermarket ones don't include a smart-key.

but watch them put BIG hulking buttons on the smart key fob so when you have it in your pocket, you're arming and disarming your alarm all the time like with the 05 fob.

lmao that happened to me so many times. I would be working on my car and it never failed that when I would bend down to detail the front, with my keys in my front pocket, the panic alarm would go off. Man, even the stock STi horns are loud when your head is right near them.
