With 18", one woudl hopefully expect something like 235/40 R18 or somethign? I dunno.

So many things are getting better about the STI except that it's still a hatch. I wonder if you could just take a chainsaw and lob off the hatchiness...

If they do bring Legacy STI to stateside, that'd be the solution.

I found it on autoblog.com. The tire size will be a 245/40-18.

Here is a page of translated brochure:

I´m in somewhat of a trouble...

I want the buckets but my thighs would propably rest on the sides there, the leather parts... so the leather parts of the seat would become wrinkled and ugly... but the standard seats are almost too flat and dull... I want the fogs, navigation, keyless entry and push start button but I want to keep the 5 spoke wheels. I don´t want the BBS multispokes. I´m just not very fond of them.

Darn this is making me insane. Why couldn´t Subaru make the standard seats more body-grabbing and have the Navi, keyless entry, Push Start, Fogs, Recaros and BBS wheels optional each for its own, not in a complete package. I think it´s unfair to people that might want the buckets but don´t like the BBS wheels HAVE to get the BBS wheels. Also to get the Navigation + Keyless entry + Fogs... you HAVE to get the BBS wheels and Recaros. Even the Push Start button should be standard on all STi´s since one got it. It frustrates me.

This should have been like this:

Optionals
Recaros = X (or the Standard wheels more bucket-y)
BBS Wheels =
Fogs = X
Navigation = X
Keyless entry = X
Push Start = X

Not like this:

Optionals
Recaros, BBS wheels, Navigation, Keyless entry, Push Start =
Recaros, BBS wheels, Navigation, Keyless entry, Push Start, Fogs = X

I doubt we'll get the hardcore Recaro option (which I want, badly), but Subaru better bring those "softer" Recaros over here or I'll be pissed. I'm not fat and I use my car for the track. I'd prefer to have a OEM seat that does the job and has side airbags (though they might have gone to a side curtain now...not sure.)

If we can't get an STI sedan, that'd be the closest thing.

I was trying to be nice, but it's true. Generally we're taller too, but who's counting? How about some slightly bigger Recaros? Or maybe we could just order them from S/M/L/XL/XXL/XXXL/Ginormous? Then everyone fits!
