Yes, the factory is warranty based on the original date of sale and the mileage of the car, it is independent of who owns the car. When you see the sign on a used car that says "As is, no warranty" that means that the dealer is not providing their own warranty on it (above and beyond what the factory provides). By law they are required to state whether they are offering their own guarantee on the car.

What everyone seems to not notice is that the STi logo everywhere on the inside (steering wheel, seats, iluminated logo, gauge-logo) is the old STi logo, not the new one...

So those who love the old logo. Cheer up!

Interior looks good but, the car resembles a Mazda Speed way too much. Now, I'm not too sure if I like it.

Itīs just a fact that the new Impreza will bring more people to the Subaru family. Subaru now has everything to offer except for a big olī jeep and a pickup, which they donīt need.

Theyīve got a pretty good SUV. An awesome luxury sedan/wagon. A really cool little hatchback.

And soon a monster version of that little beast

Glad to hear Subaru are doing well. Been a fan of Subaru since Colin won the WRC back in 95 and got my first Subaru in 2000. Itīs always been an uphill battle for Subaru in the sales department I think. Theyīve got their core of loyal fans but I think in the recent years, their reputation has been growing, which I like.

Less weight and slightly more power (based off of this thread) than the EVO X. The interior looks great.

I think we might have a winner.

I wouldn't be surprised to see slightly more power from the USDM version. With the exception of the top JDM trims like the Spec-C or S20x, the US version 2.5L had more horsepower and torque. While we won't get the twin-scroll setup, I suspect we might see 315hp 320lb-ft, even if Subaru doesn't rate it as such.

Just look at the WRX. Two separate dynos have now confirmed that they put out more like 235-240hp and almost 250-260lb-ft of torque, stock.

Great eyes man. I think we are seeing a shot of the JDM version and then the gauge from the USDM version; so JDM gets the 2.0L 8K redline, we get the 2.5L 7K, just the current STI lineup.

True, but when I buy a car, I want there to be NO question as to what it is.

Honestly, while the side window area profile is similar, the front is nothing like a MS3 and the rear is quite different as well. Factor in the massive fender flares, which a MS3 doesn't have, and it will definitely be distinctive.

Exactly. Donīt forget the huge nostril on the hood, vent on the front fenders and a big olī Subaru badge on the front and rear
