IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2004 | I bet it will spool faster than a GT40R installed in the typical location of a rotated mount turbo kit. He's shortened his exhaust manifold runners by quite a bit and the turbo's compressor outlet will feed directly into the fmic, shortening his ic piping considerably. |

| Junior STI Driver Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Like yourself, I upgraded from a GT4088R (.95 A/R) to a S374 (1.10 A/R) on my RB26 240SX. Good move, as the new turbo spools just as quickly as the GT40R. I maxed out the 1000cc injectors on E85 last weekend, and will be heading back to the dyno tomorrow to see what kind of power I can get out of the 1600's....I'll post a new dyno graph hopefully tomorrow night to give you an idea of how this turbo flows on a 2.6L motor... Feel free to check out the build photos, dyno graph, etc. Underground Motorsports Demo Car 1998 RB26DET 240SX E85 Pump Fuel, 19 PSI of Boost 642whp/442tq Borg Warner S374 Turbo, 1000cc Injectors, Tial 60mm Wastegate, AEM EMS - Video GT4088R (17 PSI) vs S374 (19 PSI) |

lol....not even close to a 4088 according to this dyno chart (on a 2.6 no less). should make some good power for 1500rpms. You see he's running out to 8500? | |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2005 | im going to have to take this all with a grain of salt hear. we have two different motors. different heads, both have a 2.65 but one is a six cylinder. both cars are going to be totally different along with i plan on using the .90 ar first and maybe switching to th 1.00 and never using the 1.10. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2006 | i assume the s374 is similar to the gt4202 being that the inducers are so similar. how bout the turbine sizes how do they compare? and on that, why choose borg warner? not knocking ya, just curious i know they make great turbos for porsche and bmw through kkk. also you like atmosphere being a mpls resi. ah and the motor did you say closed deck 2.65? would that happen to have something to do with crawford? |
