IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | so yea i took my car to the track.. on september 20 2006 on INFINEON RACEWAY after couple of pass and my car heat soaking i was able to run on 91 octane - 12.727 on 97 mix octane - 12.434 my mod list - HKS CARBON TI catback - PERRIN catless downpipe - Ported n coated stock manifold by crucial - 3 port boost soleniod - and grounding kit (like it makes a difference) and TUNED BY ED @ EQ TUNING ------ 12.434 --- on my last and best run i couldnt make another pass because i broke out in the elemination round i dialed in 12.6 and broke out.. I SWEAR IF I WAS TO MAKE ANOTHER PASS THAT NIGHT I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN FASTER TIME.. THE CAR HAS ALOT MORE IN IT WITH THIS SET UP. that pass i did good i had my average high 1.699 60 foot (mybest 1.615) i shifted 2nd gear kinda slow, my 2nd gear to 3rd gear i kinda shifted lil early my shift point was suppose to be 6700 and i shifted at 6300, my 3rd to 4th was sooo fast and 4th to 5th was so fast and i had nailed my shift points perfect.. with that in the back of my mind i know this car is capable of running 12.3 on infineon raceway and possible 12.2 if i use 104 octane like everybody else ahhaa 12.434 pass was done with my 97 octane mix gas map the car made 312whp and 356 wtq ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I ALSO TRACKED MY CAR ON 91 map i ran 12.727 i think i can do better if the weather was alot cooler i made 2 pass on 91 my time slip ![]() my 91 map ![]() yea i made only 5 total pass 2 on 91 map and 3 on my 100 octane map i was kinda struggling to launch my car track was so different and i havent been on the track since last year so it felt new to me again my 60 foot was not as good but i finaly woke up and bam hitting my average 60 footers again ( i average at high 1.6 and low 1.7) plus one for ED at EQTUNING PS i posted alot of pics of my time slip to make its not photoshop yea folks its real This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2004 Trader Rating: (6) | Did you actually laminate your road dyno plot and your timeslip?! I also wanted to point out to those reading this thread that the 'dyno' they are looking at above is not from a dyno. It is a road dyno with calculated horsepower and torque. However, Ed's software appears to be pretty damn accurate. t |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | Great times Sean. I'm sure we can get that beast to do atleast a 12.2 as it is and maybe even a 12 flat with a couple more key mods, a little more octane, a little cooler weather, and of course one of your low 1.6 60ft's ![]() Thanks -- Ed This ad is not endorsed by this member.
