IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | I completed the install and thanks to the posts here, it went well. I did get the check engine light and flashing cruise control light but I cleaered it with the Cobb AP and it has not returned. The $20 install kit is not needed for the the 06' STi so save your money. I only used the kit's included clamps which can be purchased from any auto parts store for $1. Concern I have is this; everyone said how loud this pump is and mine is barley audible. Even without the back seat in it is very quiet. Turnng the key into the on position yields a very quiet 3 second wine from the pump. With the seat installed, I can barely hear it with the car turned off. In short, I notice no audible difference between OEM and this Walbro 255. The car operates normaly. Has Walbro changed the pump or is mine broken? Steve This ad is not endorsed by this member.
