Default Worxtuning cold air intake

Anybody running this intake? I did a search on here and NASIOC and couldn't come up with any reviews on it. Looks like a nice piece and I was thinking of giving it a try.

Thanks,
Nate

Give it a try. It looks like a good design. I'm sure it will have similar power gains as compared to the ever popular APS and Injen cai. Sometimes it's better to take the path less traveled.

I may just do that. I'm already going to be testing their new springs so if that goes well I'll probably roll the dice on the CAI as well.

So NOBODY has any info on this thing? I find that hard to believe Looks like such a nice piece...

why is it hard to beleive? That is not a main stream unit and it jsut came out not that long ago. The INJENs, Cobbs and APSs have been run and tuned by many already. Im sure it's a great unit...

if you upgrade with a cobb access port, intakes will be useless. unless you get the streetuner package as well.

Wrong! This is not true at all. The AP is designed to work with specific intakes but any aftermarket intake can be tuned by a tuner or with Street tuner to work just fine with the AP...

right! that's why i mentioned that you should get the streettuner as well to tune it with the ap. if you don't have streettuner, more than likely you are better of with the stock intake or one that cobb recomends. which are only few.

Ok well........I'm gonna bite the bullet and order the Worx CAI. I plan on getting it tuned at TopSpeed and have a previous dyno of my current setup so we'll be able to see exactly how well it performs. I'll let you guys know how it turns out

I placed my order about 3 months ago and apparently they were having issues with their powder coater. I ran out of patience last week and ordered an APS CAI instead and received it 2 days later Disappointed I didn't get to try out the Worx CAI but I'm very happy with my APS.

Sorry about that Nate. Not that it helps you now, but we finally finished up the production run about a week after you cancelled and have plenty of stock. The APS part is a good choice as well. They make very nice product.

For the rest of you.......
I am willing to give a few special deals to IWSTI members if you would like to try it out.

Why try our intake over the numerous others available? Well at the heart of it all is our CNC machined Billet MAF housing which was designed to allow the sensor read correctly and function as intended by the engineers who designed it. There are no bandaids or "it functions within an acceptable range and can be tuned around". We use a large diameter cold feed tube and the maf inlet has the proper radius air horn so all turbulence and flow variation are corrected pre-sensor. We now use powdercoated aluminum piping and the kits also include genuine Samco Sport silicone hoses and German made Zebra hose clamps which are non-perforated with rolled edges which will not cut or damage the silicone.

I will post up an updated picture of the new Ver2 Intake very soon. We are loading a new site any time now so once it is up I can link to the new product pic.

Let us now if you guys have any dyno and specially a/f info on your new CAI. I have narrowed my choices to about three, yours being one. But I believe in the old days when vendors wanting to sell something would test the darn things to see if they actually work-not that you wont test your cai but it'd be nice to get more concrete data.

cheers,
