IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2003 Trader Rating: (3) | take the turbo apart and look at the flapper. the wastegate itself is internal to the turbo. The wastegate ACTUATOR is what moves the wastegate and is generally where problems occur. Let me guess you are getting 9-10psi, right? that is what the spring pressure is. Take a very close look at all of the boost lines and the electrical connection to the boost solenoid. There are also quite a few threads here about low boost (9-11psi) there is lots of help there as well. Good luck finding your issue. |
