As soon as my APS inlet and 3" Green get here, I will post pictures and thoughts.

I've got mine on. Still waiting for my 3" Green to get here though. It was quite a project. Not for the faint of heart.

NicE!! It sounds like you already installed it? if not please take pics of before/during/after etc.

Also, did you notice any power gains?

Yes, it is already installed. I am waiting on my 3" Green to get here before I'll be able to test it out.
It looks like it belongs there even though it was such a pain in the butt to put on.

How many hours did it take you?

It is easily an all day project. It took me two days due to the Subaru dealer ordering the wrong gasket kit for the TGV's.

The first turbo inlet pipe fitment is the most time consuming, after that a competent tech should be able to complete the install in approx 2.75 to 3 hours, no big deal really for a good tech or a mechanically inclined DYI enthusiast.

This was my first inlet install. Plus I took my time to make sure I did everything right the first time. 3 hours will be pushing it with all the modding and cutting that has to be done though. But no doubt it could be done much quicker the next time around.

That's a wise approach for sure, better to take your time and do the install correctly first time around than rushing the install and end up with a less than perfect install.

Our techs at APS do the install in approx 2.75 to 3 hours (the avergae shop may take longer) so that time frame is certainly possible for an experienced tech with faster than average wrench skills.

Well done on your install and I'm sure you will see some positive power results when your tuning is completed.

Peter
