Our techs at APS do the install in approx 2.75 to 3 hours (the avergae shop may take longer) so that time frame is certainly possible for an experienced tech with faster than average wrench skills

Okay, I dont live in the USA and our subaru dealer doesnt carry a single part for the MY05 2.5 Sti.

I need to know, what exactly do I need to buy from the Subaru dealer so I could order the parts I need the same time I order the air inlet pipe.

Gaskets, clamps etc? let me have it.

Yes - somebody list the part numbers here for the TGV gaskets (top/bottom for both driver and passenger side).

Doing this install in 2.5 hrs is crazy.

The tumbler gasket part number is: 14075AA160 and they are right at $10 each from your local Subaru dealer. I have the part number for the intake manifold gasket as well, but I can't find the receipt right this minute. You will only need the IM gasket if you are going to do TGV work. This gasket and ALOT of time is all you need.

So if I dont need to do the TGV deletes, will I need the TGV gaskets?

You will need the gasket that goes between the TGV and the head. You will not need the gasket that goes between the TGV and the Intake Manifold if your not doing the TGV delete. The gasket part number you will need without doing TGV delete is in my previous post.

Read the install instructions on the APS site, there is way more involved than just taking off the intake manifold and reinstalling. I know my way around a WRX motor and this is more than a 3 hour job. I wouldn't take all day next time, but 3 hours is a stretch.

When I installed Perrin Fuel Rails on my 02 WRX, it took me all day the first time, but a year or so later when I removed them, it only took like 3 hours... and you have to remove similar parts of the car to get them in/out.

Everybody, don't get me wrong, this is a worth while mod and a mod I would do again in a heart beat even if it took me a week to do. It is just a little more involved than some would make you think. I had all of the tools and skill required to make the install. And I'm very "fast with a wrench". I did take my time to do everything right. I just can't see doing this in 3 hours or less no matter how many times I did it.
But don't let this scare any of you from getting this inlet!!! It is well thought out and the instructions are spot on. Just make sure you allow yourself the time to do it. It's all good!

Bad News, The Rear TGV Sensor Still Has To Be Removed Using The APS Inlet With A FP 3" Inlet Turbo. Wouldn't Work With My Red.

I might try that in the morning. I doubt its going to work though. I didn't get the turbo tightened down half way and the sensor was already cracking like hell.

Hey man! I took my belt sander and sanded the end of the sensor flat. Just for safe measure, I wiped some sealant on the end of the sensor. There is now about an 1/8" clearance. Problem solved.
