Robert at StaticX does sell it, and also will wrap a DP if you get it from him. Def wrap it...I am having it Thermo Tech sprayed and wrapped. I heard somewhere that if its just wrapped, and not sprayed, the moisture on the wrap can warp the DP....so yah.

Wrapping works really well. Cools the engine bay DRAMATICALLY. A nice loose turbo blanket on the hot side will make it fantastic.

i dont believe there are any downsides besides its a pain (cause you might need to take off the part and wrap it, and it costs money)

But I bet its worth it...

You can get the Wrap and paint at autozone, or even better Advance Auto Parts. If not the above web site mentioned above are perfect.

Do you HAVE to take the dp out in order to wrap it properly, or can you do a good job with it still on??

Take the downpipe off the car, and then wrap it.

i think you can still wrap it easily when it's on the car using a lift...

but who knows...i'll wrap mine when the new turbo is getting put in.
