isn't that an STi they're doing it on??
wouldn't work well because it's just like any other BOV on the market and our cars don't like them.

Search is your friend, but to be more clear, the reason they don't work well is because our car meters air with the MAF and the engine expects to see all of that air. When using a BOV, some of the metered air can be vented to the atmosphere which reduces the volume of air the engine expects to see and produces a temporary rich condition (because less air makes the AFR go down). Temporarily rick conidtions cause backfires and sluggish performance.

All of that being said, if you used a MAP sensor on a standalone EM or if you put the BOV in front of the MAF in a blow through system, it will work perfectly.
