Can you explain what you mean by hybrid? Does that mean you've squeezed an oversized compressor wheel into a small turbo housing?

hybrid usually means that they have a turbo made with a compressor wheel from one turbo, and the turbine wheel from another turbo.

However when it comes to Evo tuning, the old school DSM-ers tend to bring the best advice to the table.

lol, just dont take repair advice from the DSM guys...

my buddy has a Talon TSI, running 13-flat, with a homemade boost controller, and about 13 layers of duct-tape sealing a crack in his chargepipe.

can anyone tell me what kind of boost and gas this plot represents? Also, is this power at the wheels or crank?

- GT3076R (500HP)

i wonder how many people are going to do the GT28RS. i mean, its a damn expensive turbo for only flowing 350hp.

looks like they ARE doing a 3071.. and they have a dyno of the 3071 too

i really wonder how the turbo is fit in there... i want to know if it uses the same intake pipe and such. im also curious if aftermarket TMICs can be used, and if the downpipe tapers to 2.5".

Brett...you should email that image to the tuner. They'll probably give you all the info you need. They're actually right here in Fremont about 20mph from my house.
