IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Needing some opinions please. I'm getting ready to pay a shop to install the following items. Can anyone give me some estimates on what the install time should be around for each item - I just want to make sure I'm not going to get ripped. Deadbolt 20G Perrin FMIC PE 850 Injectors Walbro Fuel Pump Lightweight Crank Pulley 1 step colder plugs zeitronix gauge set (EGT,AFR,,Boost) Cobb F/R Sway Bars As you can see I have been saving up parts for one big install/Tuning. Any input would be greatly appreciated! This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| S204 Racer | Looking at you list, the FMIC is the big variable. Someone who's done a couple of these before can probably whack one out in a couple of hours, but a newbie might take 5 or 6. There is cutting involved, none of it fits totally perfectly, and there are ZERO directions. Most tuner shops want the car for at least a full day for a complete turbo system upgrade and a FMIC install. I dunno...you're probably looking at 12 hours labor to get it all done right, maybe a bit more. If you could find a shop that has done all this before and would charge you a single day's labor as a "package deal" to do all of it at once, you've got a great deal, imo. |
