IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Sorry it took so long to get this stuff posted, this is my list for the car Scott is talking about.Scott has spent numerous hours on this car from dyno tuning / road tuning / track events. This car has been an ongoing project for the last year. The goal has always been to make an extremly well rounded car. I like 1/4, auto x, track day, etc...So, the latest tune was in 80+ degree temp with medium humitidy. As far as a tuner/performance adviser, Scott has always helped me achieve my goals with this car!Now some people will say FMIC is the way to go over TMIC, but "the bang for the buck" on MY project, the TMIC has pervided me with all my goals in mind. Now I have put on different products and replaced them a few times to find the right ones for my application. And so far this is how it lays out. *V Limited front lip *Ecutek reflash ***324whp & 360LbFt*** *CAI w/ Perrin turbo intake tube *Perrin EBCS *Turbo XS TMIC *Turbo Smart dual port BOV *Odessey race cell batt. *Cusco heat shield *3" turbo back Random Technology exhaust *AVO automatic water sprayer kit(boost sensative) *Kartboy SS w/ bushing kit *Prodrive shift knob *JIC FLT-A2 coilovers *Sparco racing harness *Defi boost gauge *Panasonic CD player *SPL amp *JBLs in the doors w/ single SPL sub *Rota Tarmac II *Mostly debadged There is a big toss up on going to a 20G (possibly a GT35R with internal work) in the near future, but after seeing the last 2 times I have had to fill up the car, I don't know how soon that may take place... Before the latest tune I was getting 276esh miles to a tank of gas, Now I have gotten 308 miles on the first tank and 312 miles on the last one. This tank I have been playing alot and have a 1/4 left and have 240 miles on it now. This is a much happier ride. MANY,MANY Thanks Scott!!! Last edited by NXTLVL; 09-20-2005 at 05:16 PM. |

And more on the TMIC, I would have to say if you want to maintain faster turbo responce with minimal boost drop on track conditions and street conditions, this is a good way to go. Now if all you want is a 1/4 mile queen, then I don't think a TMIC is better just for heat soak resonses. But if you are willing to ice pack down the intercooler before a run like I would then you get all the benfits of a FMIC with a faster boost responce.Hopefully in the next few weeks I will let you know how it goes @ the 1320!
