IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2003 Trader Rating: (2) | I am interested to see how the 06 does... they changed the torque split on the car (41/59 I believe) and I am sure that would affect its nature on the track. ESEMES also said that there was a different looking turbo, although I dont think it dynoed any higher/lower then a stock 05. I am still going to venture the normal 13.1s-13.4s on average for good drivers, however tuned may be a whole new game with as different as the motor seems to be (in an ECU/tuning sense and in other little goodies here and there) slightly improved again. IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Rosspbig, thanks for your response. I am aware of the effect elevation plays on quarter mile times. I live in Memphis, between 200-300 ft above see level. So, I suppose my revised question should be what do stock 05/06 STI's run at elevations like Memphis that are between 200-300 ft? Thanks for the responses guys. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | ummm i ran a 12.9 at LACR but i am not too sure about the elevation. it was all due to my launch, so i am sure you could run 13 flats at 200 ft elevation. |

| Senior STI Driver | i live in memphis as well and my best time was 13.5 if it helps any.i say it was about 75 degrees outside and my clutch was slipping a bit and i had about 50 extra pounds of crap in the trunk i forgot to take out before i ran.i launched it at about 5000rpms,the launch was nice.i dont know how good of a driver i am but take away the clutch slipping, the extra weight and make it a lil bit cooler,im pretty sure i could have at least nailed a 13.2-13.3.hope it helps you a lil bit. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | Good drivers get low 13's. Average driver get mid 13's. A very few have ventured into high high 12's stock...but some would question their "stockness". This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
