Default Anyone have any type of protection for FMIC?

I know there is gutter screen that can be used for the hood scoop to protect the TMIC, but I am getting ready to install my FMIC soon and was looking for any suggestions or ideas others have used. I need to find some good screening, or grill material.

Go down to any of the big home improvement centers (Home Depot, Lowes, etc) and get a roll of the screen door material. It's cheap, flexible, and you can cut a bunch of 'em out and fasten them on with zip-ties. When they get filled with bugs or other crap, just replace it.

OTOH, if you're talking about trying to protect them from rocks - forget it. You'd need a grate for that, and that's probably not what you'e looking for.
