Default quiet exhaust

check it out, i currently have txs rfl-ti catless tbe. and its pretty loud, really loud.
and here in CA laws are getting stricker and well its just too damn loud.

anyway, i want to go with something legal and not as loud. i've always liked, apexi- worldsport, tanabe-hyper, and blitz-nur touring. i just like the shape of the canister. and i know these aren't that loud.

my questions are,
-are these legal(do they come with documents)?
-is the sound noticeable at all? any deep rumble sound?
-will it still be loud with my txs dp(i don't really want to remove my dp)?
-which of these exhaust do you recommand?
-are they all same size? in terms of piping?

thanks.
-jae

My Vishnu signature exhaust isn't very loud. Louder than stock, but not obnoxious by any means. It really just changed the exhaust note more than made it louder.

Your DP is illegal in CA. If you touch your stock CATS your illegal in CA. The only thing in CA that is legal is a cat back that is quieter than 95DBA. FYI your Typhoon & BOV are also illegal in CA.

yeah i was thinking about an exhaust that would sound real nice but also not attract alot of attention. i like the look of the borla single tip. looks exactly like stock but the sound is there too.

but you just said that catbacks are legal as long as its under 95dba, and most of the cat back replaces the stock cat.
so im guessing you are talking about axle back, not cat-back.

i could go with stealth back option, however i don't want to look stock. why? why pay more money to be stock look, it just doesn't make any sense. true it gets better hp, but it looks ugly.

A stealth back is downpipe-mid pipe stock axle back..I thought typhoon was 50 state legal I got pulled over the other day and the cop tried giving me crap for it but i told him it was legal

.."turbo-back" replaces or eliminates the cats, "cat-back" replaces eveything behind the cats

Apexi WS. It has a great throaty tone and is not much louder than stock. I believe it also conforms to the new decibel laws in Calif.

My greddy EVO2 is pretty quiet unless you really rev it up. tucks up nicely under the bumper too.
