hey speed did you wind up porting your wastegate..? or no..?..and if not have you seen any boost creep yet..? then next thing im looking to get is an exhaust and dp but reading this page makes me wanna re-think things...any info would be helpfull....thank you steven

I just installed mine. No boost creep as of yet. It is early however. I will probably have it done when I get my engine management and have it tuned.

Two days later and now I have a check engine light and my cruise light keeps blinking. What is up with this. no luck at all.

You either need some EM, or need to get a mechanical CEL fix. I basically pulls the o2 sensor out of the direct exhaust and not letting as much air hit it. You should be able to find easy howto using the search, if not though let m eknow Ill send you the part numbers of the parts you need. Its actually 2 differnt parts you have to hollow out the inside a little. Its less that $5 at your local autoparts store, and it beats ordering a $30 version of the same thing from gpmoto or somewhere else.

thanks boosted. I actually ordered that with the exhaust. Do you think it could be because I actually had it wide open last night?? I figured if it was something with the setup or O2 sensor wouldnt it come on right away and not 2 days later??

Did the CEL comeone with the mechanical CELfix in there?

Yeah it came on with it installed. I went out and drove to the store today and the CEL was off and my cruise light was no longer blinking. Weird

what does the blinkin cruise light mean?? I had my my helix catted DP on for 4 days now and no probs. I am gettin a funky smell from inside the car though. No boost creep so far either.

For the top bolt on my dp I had to stand in my engine bay while pulling up on a 1/2 ratchet that bolt took foreva and alot of wd-40
