Default DIY slosh box/in tank fuel cut eliminator

Most of you already realize once you go with an aftermarket pump or dual pump in tank setup you may get fuel cut particularly around 1/3 or less of fuel.

The main cause of this being the poorly designed slosh box that most people do not reinstall when adding an aftermarket pump.

I am running E85 and want to fabricate something that will help get the STI around those corners without it falling on it's nose.

I am currently testing (bench) a rain-x windshield washer fluid bottle to see how it holds up to E85. What I then want to do is cut it up and install it so that it engulfs the 2 fuel pump filter/strainers. I am running a dual setup so this may vary for some of you.

I figure if I drill 2 1/8" holes in various locations that it may flow slow enough to keep the fuel pumps submerged on a corner.

Thoughts? Anyone else already tackled this without the use of a surge tank?

Does the opening lay flat in the tank?

This looks really cool. I have a huge problem with fuel cutting out in turns. I want to make something like this too.

Did this solve the fuel cut problem completely ?

How does having this affect your max fuel capacity ?

Does dumping the hot fuel next to the pump affect the performance ?

On my RS, there is a little partition box for where the fuel pump strainer rests on the bottom of the tank. Do you have that on the STI ? Did you remove that ?
