and the ewg setup bothers me
haha
it's freakin casted onto the turbine housing.
I thought ewg where supposed to be in between the headers and before the turbo.
they way they have it set up it's just like a bigger internal wastegate with a tube

Make sure you have a full understanding of how a turbo/manifold/wastegate combo works before posting comments like that. The placement of the wastegate on that housing is ideal for boost control.

I'm always recommending ATP Turbo. I've ordered many parts from them. They're always the first place I go before buying from anywhere else. They're the best!

I use to love them too. I just got a lot of cold feet from tuners hesitant to advice me to get them

What reasoning did they provide?

Oh btw, this thread reminds me to replace all my stock hose clamps with t-bolt clamps, which I'll be getting from ATP .

Just the build quality and efficiency of the turbo. They usually recommend a dom 3 or a gt52

The ATP turbo is all Garrett other than the ehxuast housing, which means that it's about as high quality as you can get for a turbo. As far as efficiency, Garrett provides compressor maps for all of their turbos...

It sounds like your "tuners" are a little biased.
