IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | So we catch a nice day in frigid ohio and what do you know the sti won't start. 2 weeks ago starts up fine and today i get nothing just crank, crank, crank and it never starts. Some interesting things about this problem, its acting like it's not getting fuel and i dont hear the pump prime but i just replaced the walbro 3-4 months ago so i doubt its that but how knows, also my dccd lights are doing the thing where the bottom green one flashes and im wondering if this has an anything to do with my car not starting. The last time it was drivin it was perfect running easy starting no problems at all and that was maybe two weeks ago and now this any help would be greatly appreciated This ad is not endorsed by this member. Then turn your key to on not acc and you should hear the fuel pump prime among other things it does if the fuel pump doean't prime most likely it is the fuel pump or it's wiring. johnlude85 may be right with fuses but you may want to check the wiring that plugs into the walboro maybe it came loose. You battery is ok if it cranks over. So rule that out. Try those things and I will watch the post. G/L Leave no STI behind.... |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | ok lets start from the top. battery is fine cranks over easily, checked fuses including the main fuel pump fuse under the hood they were fine. it has about a quarter tank of gas but its 52 degrees outside so i cant see the fuel line being frozen or anything like that. i cant run diagnostics because i have hydra. the whole flashing green dccd light is really scaring me though any other advice i will double check fuses but i defineatly do not hear the pump prime up at all |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | replicated the problem it is SBF 5 in the engine bay I pulled it and nothing happens when I turn the car on, When I crank it, it just turns over. no fuel pump sound and the DCCD green light flashes; replace that with the 30AMP spare fuse and run it... let us know you should be good my 05 did the same **** yours is doing when I replicated it. |
