IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | the sbf no.5 fuse is fine i checked it and i even swapped it with the spare still nothing cranks and cranks, pump never primes and my green dccd still blinks. I had a similar problem like this before, since i run standalone i have no use for my maf but i didnt want to just cut it out in case i ever decided to sell it. so i had it tied back and out of the way, well one day the zip tie broke and the maf fell down and melted to my uppipe. the maf is also on that fuse and it would continually pop until i finaly found the melted maf sensor. Needless to say i have since removed the maf completely from the system, i wish i could remember if the dccd lights were blinking then This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | http://www.northursalia.com/modifica...Electrical.pdf here is the whole wiring diagram for the 04 sti engine follow these and you should see where the break is in your system also test light that fuse to see if power is getting to it. if not it is broke before that. if it is it is after that. it may take hand over handing it. you should also test light at the fuel controller to make sure the power is getting there also just keep working your way down the connection till you find it. let me know that manual should help a lot. |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | on page 5 of that manual you see the main relay which is controlled by sbf 5 (which also controls the fuel pump). on the main relay is a yellow wire labeled YL. follow that out of the main relay and it goes to your ecu. From your ecu to O Table-06 on page 8. from O on pg 8 it goes to your wastegate solenoid. From you wastegate solenoid to your MAF and from you maf to R Table 11 on pg 13. R on page 13 takes you to the fuel injectors. So if there is no power to sbf 5 there is no fuel pump power or main relay power or no power to your maf and on to your injectors not firing. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | updates since last night i began to track down the problem. i checked sbf 5 the fuse that runs the pump it has power. i also pulled my back seat out and checked if the pump itself was getting power, and i found power on the connector. To me this would indicate that my walbro has seized and i simply need a new fuel pump correct? |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | I got the same lights blinking when I installed my Walbro accompained with a CEL IIRC p147 (search under my name) but it meant high temp fuel system IIRC. They disapeared by itself after a while. I possitive u need a new pump or fix the co nection inside the tank. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | ok updates and questions. shouldnt the pump have 2 power sources going to it? a main 12 volt and then a second 5 volt that tells it when to prime and all that stuff. since i am getting power and since the fuse isnt blown wouldnt that mean that the 5volt relay fuse isnt working and the relay is either bad or disconnected correct? please help me any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated This ad is not endorsed by this member.
