warranty period shouldn't matter with TSBs

Yea they'll do whatever you want them to do, you'll just have to pay for it.

Dealerships are lame. They wanted to charge me for replacing the axle nut. A $5 Part when i could have done it myself, I just thought that it was under warranty. Who knew that a STAKED AXLE NUT working loose over a couple of years is NORMAL -_-

I guess Ill have to order this part and do this myself as well.

Please correct me if I'm not understanding this correctly...but that wire mesh filter is supposed to catch something that the finer paper oil filter couldn't?

unless mine is special, the 07's do not have a filter in the turbo oil feed line. i had mine off for a turbo upgrade and nothing was in there.

bought it feb 07, stage 2 may 07, got nailed may 07, sat in body shop for 2 months!, then element gt49, headers, supporting mods, august 07, blew the motor september 07, collecting parts as we speak. so far i aquired an ar fab sf2 shortblock and im saving for a p&l gt30r kit.

i knew it was a bad idea to buy a turbo car because i have a modding problem. i promised myself i was going to keep it stock. 4 hours after i got the car home i started ordering parts. now i have a 10 month old car, no warranty and a blown motor. oh well, i love the car when its not busted!

as far as i understand it, there are 2 timing maps that need to be turned off or else you will potentially blow it up. something triggers them to add timing randomly and nobody knows what the trigger is as far as i know. a lot of 07 guys have been burned hard with this.
