IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 | I assume this banjo bolt is on the back side (toward the firewall) of the passenger side head, correct? The diagram on FP's website is all turned around and doesn't make any sense. How hard is it to get to with a stock location turbo? I hate working in this area! I spent all last Sunday in there removing my turbo brackets. Did I mention I hate working in this area! Wolf! How hard is this? I have already had to have my FP20G rebuilt one time. This is deeply disconcerting to me. CB |

It was semi-discussed in this thread. UL and I had the same problem with the hard oil feed line breaking http://www.iwsti.com/forums/engine-p...placement.html Here are some shots below from the thread above. Im not sure how to actually remove the filter though. It is near #2 in this pic What the filter looks like in the bolt. IIRC, it is a 17mm wrench/bolt is needed to remove the bolt. The bolt on the left goes to the AVCS unit in front, and has just a normal hole in it, the one on the right goes to the back of the block, and contains a filter. See where the braided line splits from the blue connector and goes down. Last edited by fourseasonsandles; 12-11-2007 at 09:10 AM.. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 | Is it best to replace the copper washers as well when doing this? I came home for lunch and got the flashlight and spied it. The only concern I have is if it will come out all the way before hitting my uppipe flange. Otherwise, looks uber simple. CB |
