****All turbocharged subarus have the turbo banjo bolt filter regardless of year. Only the AVCS filter was removed for '05+ mentioned in the TSB.***

i don't know how else to convey this.
Would my 94 turbo legacy (2.2 L) have one - I have never checked it and it still runs great.

I have read that subaru stopped putting in the filter at the AVCS line, however the current status of the filter at the turbo remains confusing - I am going to contact Subaru tech support and verify if it has one or not - if they will tell me in my Legacy 09 Spec B which has the 2.5 L turbo.

I pulled the filter out my 06', it seems people are confused between the turbo oil feed banjo screen and the one at the AVCS feed . Two different locations/filters. The area of concern is the turbo feed, blocked or dirty filter starves oil supply to turbo. Once you take it out you will be shocked how small the holes are in the screen.

How long did it take you to take out the filter? I seem to remember when I was researching this issue that it is a royal pain in the *** to remove it.
