IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | Hey, was wondering if anyone has a solution i got a 3.5" APS TBE and it was fine for a bit then a CEL came on, reset ecu and it came back. So i decided to get an o2 simulator, got one from o2simulator.com and put it on, looked good untill 300 miles then the cel came back, reset ecu again and the cel came back after 300 miles any ideas? \= This ad is not endorsed by this member. Drill it out a half inch and then put it in the hole where the rear 02 sensor is then put the 02 sensor in. No more cel. The whole idea is to get the rear o2 sensor out of the direct path of the hot exhaust (especially when you have no cats) then the o2 sensor will read an artificially lower temp then it looks for and you won't throw the cel light. The rear o2 sensor is merely looking for hotter than normal temps and that is caused by either a failing cat or lack of one, thus, getting it out of the direct path slows it down. |
