So you experience no fall off in boost? Are you still on stock vf39? I am really just looking for a reduced fall in boost from 20-17 or something instead of 20-13

Youve got a real good one

Mine only holds at 16.5 @ 7000 and my wastegate spring is 18 lbs

what gauge do you have?

could that pressure be reading from your gauge cause they are usually off 1 to 2 lbs than what is really being produced. You tuner would have the actual boost pressure readings from the ECU

I think the vf39 will do about 18.5 w/o issues. Pretty sure I use to boost that on my catless st. 2 protuned

I am also interested in everyone's thoughts on the Gruppe S EWG Up-Pipe. My only concern's are the fitment with a 4" bellmouth DP and that it appears to not come with a dump tube. What would happen if you ran an ewg without a dump tube? Is anyone using this Gruppe S UP, which appears to be a Helix UP?

Helix V3 Uppipe

You dont have to use a dump tube, it just makes it quieter iirc

Yeah I think I might need the dump tube. Does anyone know where you can buy just the dump tube by itself?

When running an EWG setup, would i be negating the benefit's of a bellmouth exhaust?

Alright I have 2 questions:

The air blowing out of the WG is hot as hell. From the pic a couple pages back, the dump tube runs right along side the DP. Does this heat up your system more? By system I mean intercooler and general underhood temps. I see it's aiming down, still seems like it may have a significant effect.

Would it be a good idea to extend the dump tube down to around the intermediate pipe? This way, heat under the hood wouldnt be an issue (dump tube heat anyways), and hopefully, it wouldnt be so loud. Also, it may help to keep your exhaust pipe warmer (probably negligeable) if it's kept close.

Thanks.
