I saw a couple other owners mimick the red pinstriping mod from earlier models but couldn't find any pictures of it on a blue 08. It was cheap and quick so I figured I'd try it out. I like the look so far. We'll see how lasting it is.

I removed the grille and took it apart to do this. Managed to get the grille off without removing the bumper by fishing my arm up from the lower grille openings. Every other post I've seen on this people describe skinny hands reaching from the top. There was no way that was happening and I can't imagine it being easier than going from the bottom.

I think I'm eventually going to be swapping to a sport grille anyway. Or a good looking aftermarket alternative.
