Got bored tonight...This gap under the K&N Typhoon heatshield was bugging me. Hot air rises and it likely comes in at this low point...

Notice the gap under the black heat shield?

Close up

Made a template with paper first then cut it out of aluminum sheet (Lowes)

Minor adjustment cuts...

Drilled 3 small holes and attached it to the K&N heat shield using machine screws, washers, lock washers, and nuts.

Closing the gap...

There....that's gotta be less heat getting to it....
